Hey, I'm back from yet another amazing SCBWI event;
"Tying together your online presence" with fabulous illustrator/Assistant Regional Advisor Mike DeSantis.

Mike DeSantis keeping us up to speed.

Of course Mike gave us a ton of information.
way too much for this little post.

So here's a summary of Mike's main points.
(The short, skimpy version)

In your online persona- you a signpost, student or sage?
Facebook? Separate business from personal
Who are you trying to reach? Kids? Parents? Pros?
If you start a blog, stick to it -and "feed the beast"
Authors/Illustrators - some may think

  if you're not online ... then you don't exist.

I actually saw Seventh-Heaven when we died: you couldn't GET any moe curly, 3stooges, party-hardy-endorphins, extravagantly-surplus-lush Upstairs when my beautifull, brilliant, bombastic girl passed-away due to those wry, sardonic satires.

Here's also what the prolific, exquisite GODy sed: 'the more you shall honor Me, the more I shall bless you' -the Infant Jesus of Prague.
